On Sunday, the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) increased the price of Jet A-1 (jet fuel) for both domestic and international airlines.

Prices for Jet A-1 fuel have been raised by Taka 0.25 per liter to Taka 95.12 from Taka 94.93, as per the regulatory commission circular issued on Sunday.

In addition, the BERC elevated the price for international airlines by $0.11 per liter, from $0.6246 to $0.6257.

The jet fuel price for February 2026 was adjusted upward by the regulatory agency, which took into account the average Platts Rate from January 5 to February 4.
