Sylhet’s Bholaganj Sada Pathor has regained their pristine beauty after overcoming six months of illegal extraction and environmental damage, attracting crowds of tourists during Eid-ul-Fitr holidays.

Crystal-clear water revealing milk-white stones beneath the surface signals nature is gradually recovering its lost magnificence. Tourists from across Bangladesh are flocking to the site with families, enjoying nature's embrace during festive break.

Visitors are capturing photographs and taking boat rides to witness the stunning underwater scenery. One tourist expressed amazement, “This is my first time coming here but it's very beautiful. I wouldn't have realized Bangladesh is this beautiful without visiting. Steps should be taken to preserve this beauty so we can visit repeatedly”.

Another visitor praised Sylhet's attractions, “Worth seeing, not just Sada Pathorbut various places in Sylhet. Sylhet means something extraordinary, the white stones”.

Tourism stakeholders expressed relief at the restored landscape. Labour, Expatriates Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Ariful Haque Chowdhury shared plans to enhance Sylhet's tourism sector while preserving natural character.

Regarding infrastructure development proposals, Ariful Haque Chowdhury, Minister of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment and Minister of Labour and Employment said, “Many are suggesting a walkway system but when monsoon comes, these won’t work. This is natural, better to keep it natural”.

He said that government is working to strengthen not only Sylhet but the country’s overall economy and employment sector. He assured this commitment will continue in future.

Area shows vibrant recovery with overflowing crowds enjoying scenic views. Sparkling stones beneath transparent water demonstrate nature's resilience after prolonged illegal stone extraction and environmental destruction. Entire region has come alive with excitement during Eid season.
