Chicago O'Hare International Airport's Terminal 5 lounge has been named best Delta Sky Club amongst more than 50 locations across United States and select international destinations.
Delta opened remodeled Terminal 5 at Chicago O'Hare in 2022, featuring completely reimagined Sky Clubs at both Terminal 5 and Terminal 2. Terminal 5 club spans 22,000 square feet and uniquely features two dedicated gates, one for select domestic flights and another for international travellers.
Lounge showcases local artwork from Chicago and incorporates modern elegance throughout its design. Amenities include shower suites, cocktail bar, separate wine bar and Chicago-style hot dog stand. Space offers mix of seating for solo and group travellers with views of airfield operations.
Review by Grab A Mile praised catering as superior to most Delta lounges and significantly better than American Airlines Admirals Club and United Airlines Clubs. Main food service features wide variety of hot and cold dishes, including vegetarian options. Wrap-around layout includes quiet pods and projector for cinema sessions.
Access to Delta Sky Clubs available through Delta credit cards, SkyMiles Medallion status, purchased membership or Delta One tickets. First-class or business-class passengers on partner airlines like Air France, KLM or Virgin also gain entry.
Other standout locations include New York JFK's 14,000-square-foot Terminal 4 lounge with 360-degree bar and upper-level indoor terrace, Los Angeles International Airport's 33,606-square-foot Terminal 3 club with retractable roof and Hollywood Hills views, and Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson's new 24,500-square-foot Concourse D lounge accommodating up to 500 guests.
Delta SkyMiles Reserve American Express Card and Platinum Card from American Express provide lounge access, though unlimited visits now require minimum spending of USD 75,000 on SkyMiles Reserve card.
