Embraer said Thursday its next-generation Praetor 600E has received triple certification from aviation regulators in Brazil, the United States, and Europe, marking a key step toward entry into service.

In a press release issued Thursday, Embraer said the aircraft was certified by ANAC, the Federal Aviation Administration, and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency, confirming compliance with safety and performance standards required for global operations.

The certification follows the aircraft’s unveiling in February alongside the Praetor 500E, representing the latest evolution of Embraer’s Praetor business jet family. The company said the milestone reflects strong market interest and accelerates the aircraft’s path toward commercial entry.

“Achieving triple certification… is an important milestone for the Praetor 600E,” said Michael Amalfitano, adding that customer demand and feedback since launch have been “exceptionally strong.”

The Praetor 600E is designed for long-range business travel, offering a range of more than 7,400 kilometres, enabling nonstop flights between major city pairs such as London and New York or São Paulo and Miami. Embraer said the aircraft also introduces new cabin technologies, including a 42-inch 4K “Smart Window” display that allows video conferencing, content streaming, and external viewing via onboard cameras.

The jet is equipped with advanced avionics, including fly-by-wire controls and enhanced vision systems aimed at reducing pilot workload and improving operational flexibility. These features aim to support smoother flights and provide access to a wider range of airports.

Industry observers say the certification strengthens Embraer’s position in the competitive super-midsize business jet segment, where manufacturers are focusing on range, efficiency, and cabin innovation to attract corporate and private buyers.

While the Praetor 600E is expected to enter service later this decade, Embraer said deliveries for new orders of both the 600E and 500E models are planned to begin in 2029, with the smaller variant expected to receive certification by the end of 2026.
