Dubai-based carrier Emirates said Wednesday it will roll out a range of Valentine’s Day-themed services across its flights and airport lounges, offering customers special desserts, champagne, and curated entertainment to mark the occasion.
According to a statement issued by the airline on February 12, Emirates will introduce limited-time menus, celebratory treats, and themed experiences onboard aircraft and in its lounges worldwide between February 13 and 15.
On February 14, passengers travelling in Economy and Premium Economy Class will receive complimentary mini gift boxes featuring raspberry chocolate brownies, while aircraft cabins will be illuminated with soft red lighting. First and business class customers will be served additional desserts, including chocolate brownies and raspberry ganache tarts, the airline said.
Emirates also announced that they will serve rosé champagne to passengers in premium cabins. First Class travelers will be welcomed with Dom Pérignon Rosé 2009, while Business Class customers will be served Moët & Chandon Rosé Impérial. The airline said the selections were chosen to complement the Valentine’s Day theme.
In Dubai, Emirates Lounges will feature specially prepared desserts and drinks, including Valentine’s-themed cakes, mocktails, and cocktails. Business Class lounges will also offer seasonal ice cream and sorbet options. The airline said similar themed dishes and beverages will be available in selected Emirates lounges worldwide, tailored to local tastes.
Emirates’ in-flight entertainment system, ice, will also spotlight romantic content during the period, with dedicated movie, television, and music collections centered on love-themed titles and playlists.
The airline did not quote executives in the statement but said the initiative reflects its focus on enhancing the customer experience through seasonal and lifestyle-oriented offerings. Industry observers note that such promotions are increasingly used by full-service carriers to differentiate their premium products and strengthen brand loyalty among leisure travelers.
