InterContinental Dhaka launches "World Cup Flavours" themed dinner

InterContinental Dhaka has launched World Cup Flavours, a week-long themed dinner inspired by the cuisines of the United States, Canada and Mexico.

The themed dinner is being held at Elements Global Dining from 24 to 30 June 2026 and features a menu comprising meatballs with tomato sauce, mac and cheese, burgers, hotdogs, poutine, beef tacos, nachos with salsa, chicken fajitas, enchiladas, Cajun grilled prawns, beef steaks, buffalo wings, chicken empanadas and chicken quesadillas. Guests can also choose from Mexican corn salad, Waldorf salad, assorted sushi and pizzas.

The dessert selection includes churros, Key West lime tart, chocolate brownie, New York cheesecake, arroz con leche, apple crumble, Nanaimo bars, chocolate moist cake and an assortment of other classic sweet treats.

The dinner arrangement is themed around the three host nations of the FIFA World Cup 2026—the United States, Canada and Mexico.

InterContinental Dhaka is also screening live FIFA World Cup matches on a giant screen at Opus throughout the tournament. According to the hotel, there is no cover charge for the live match screenings, and exclusive food and beverage offerings are available during the broadcasts.

The buffet dinner at Elements Global Dining is priced at BDT 11,500 net per person. The hotel is offering a Buy 1 Get 3 promotion with selected bank cards. Guests who are not eligible for the card offer can enrol in IHG One Rewards to receive a 25 per cent discount on food and beverages at InterContinental Dhaka and participating IHG Hotels & Resorts properties worldwide, according to the hotel.
