Oman Air marks five years in Bangladesh

Oman Air marked five consecutive years of
operations in Bangladesh today, strengthening air connectivity between
Bangladesh and Middle East through its Muscat hub.
Anniversary was commemorated with a cake-cutting
ceremony at Oman Air's city office in Gulshan, Dhaka. Ahmed Yusuf Walid, President
and Chief Executive Officer of Galaxy Bangladesh, led the event. Galaxy
Bangladesh serves as General Sales Agent for Oman Air in Bangladesh.
Taufiq Uddin Ahmed, Chairman of Galaxy
Bangladesh, attended alongside Abu Saleh Rizvee, Oman Air Sales Manager, and Md
Zahidul Hasan, Senior Manager Sales from Air Galaxy Ltd. Officials and staff
members from both Oman Air and GSA participated in the ceremony.
Airline representatives highlighted Bangladesh
as a steadily growing market, citing sustained passenger demand and strong
trade and labour links. Transit connectivity via Muscat to destinations across
Middle East, Europe and beyond has attracted increasing interest from
Bangladeshi travellers.
Over past five years, Oman Air focused on
delivering reliable services, competitive connectivity and enhanced customer
experience. Airline strengthened partnerships with local stakeholders in
aviation and travel sectors.
Oman Air, national carrier of Sultanate of Oman,
