Riyadh Air, Saudi Arabia’s new national carrier and a Public Investment Fund (PIF) company, launched its first direct flights between Riyadh and the Philippine capital, Manila, making it the 13th destination in its network and the seventh in Asia.

The inaugural flight, RX873, departed from King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh for Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila.

Flights between the two capitals are operated using Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, with four flights per week, increasing to daily service from October 19, 2026.

The new route will strengthen air connectivity between Saudi Arabia and the Philippines and support travel, trade, and tourism between the two countries.

It will also provide passengers with onward connections via Riyadh to domestic and European destinations within the carrier’s network, supporting the objectives of the Aviation Program under Saudi Vision 2030 to enhance air connectivity and expand the Kingdom’s international destination network.
