Saudi Arabia's Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, Eng. Waleed Elkhereji, arrived in Dhaka tonight on a two-day official visit aimed at holding engagements with the Bangladesh government.

Prime Minister's Foreign Affairs Adviser Humaiun Kobir received the Saudi vice minister at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport upon his arrival, said a foreign ministry’s press release here.

The Saudi vice minister is scheduled to hold official engagements during his brief visit before departing Bangladesh tomorrow afternoon.

The visit comes as Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia continue to maintain close bilateral cooperation across a range of areas, including labour migration, trade, investment and regional issues.
