The British High Commission in Dhaka issued a warning on Sunday that individuals who submit false or forged documents in support of United Kingdom visa applications may be subject to up to a ten-year ban.
The warning was issued in a notice published in Bengali on the mission’s verified Facebook page on Sunday.
“Submitting fake documents with a visa application? The consequence could be a 10-year ban,” the High Commission said in the notice.
The mission urged visa applicants to provide accurate information and genuine supporting documents when applying for UK visas.
It also advised applicants to seek official guidance and visa-related information through the UK government’s official immigration website.
