US-Bangla Airlines will operate two special widebody flights on the Dhaka–Dubai–Dhaka route to repatriate stranded Bangladeshis amid ongoing Middle East airspace disruptions.
In a press release issued Wednesday, the private carrier said today’s special service will depart Dhaka at 7:20pm (BST) and return from Dubai at 12:20am (local time). A second flight will operate on Thursday, departing Dhaka at 5:15pm (BST) and returning from Dubai at 10:00pm (local time).
The humanitarian services will be operated by a 436-seat Airbus A330-300 under flight numbers BS-341 (Dhaka–Dubai) and BS-342 (Dubai–Dhaka), ensuring high-capacity uplift for urgent repatriation demand.
Dubai Airport authorities have granted special permission to US-Bangla Airlines, alongside select international carriers including Emirates, Etihad, Fly Dubai, and Air India, to operate limited humanitarian services under prevailing security constraints.
Priority will be given to Bangladeshi nationals whose visas have expired or are nearing expiration.
Passengers are advised to contact US-Bangla sales offices in Bangladesh or the UAE, authorised travel agents, or call hotline 13605 and mobile +880 1777 777800–806 for assistance.
Regional air traffic remains heavily disrupted. According to Flightradar24, more than 12,300 flights across seven major Middle East airports, including Dubai International, Hamad International, Zayed International, and others, were cancelled between February 28 and March 3, affecting roughly 20,200 passengers in the UAE alone.
While select carriers such as Emirates, Etihad, and Flydubai have cautiously resumed limited operations from Tuesday, the majority of scheduled services remain suspended, underscoring the scale of the crisis impacting Gulf aviation corridors.
