Hollywood actress Zoe Saldaña has shattered box office records by becoming the highest-grossing actor of all time, with her films collectively earning USD 1,547 crore (approximately Tk 1 lakh 90 thousand crore) worldwide. Dominican-American star achieved this historic milestone following the December release of Avatar: Fire and Ash, which has generated USD 123 crore to date.

Saldaña holds an unprecedented distinction as the only actress to appear in four films that have each crossed USD 200 crore globally. These blockbusters include Avatar (2009), Avengers: Endgame (2019), Avatar: The Way of Water (2022), and Avengers: Infinity War (2018). Remarkably, the first three occupy the top three positions in cinema history's highest-grossing films list.

"I am deeply grateful to be part of this extraordinary journey. Reaching such a milestone is truly an honour for me," Saldaña said in a social media video posted on Tuesday. She credited directors James Cameron, J.J. Abrams, Joe and Anthony Russo, and James Gunn for believing in her talent.

Before this achievement, Saldaña ranked third on the all-time earnings list with USD 1,400 crore, trailing Marvel Cinematic Universe stars Scarlett Johansson and Samuel L. Jackson. Her impressive filmography includes the Guardians of the Galaxy series as Gamora and the Star Trek trilogy as Nyota Uhura, which earned over USD 100 crore worldwide.

In March 2025, Saldaña won the Best Supporting Actress Oscar for Emilia Pérez, becoming the first Dominican actress to receive an Academy Award. She will reprise her role as Na'vi warrior Neytiri in Avatar 4 (2029) and Avatar 5 (2031), ensuring her box office dominance continues.
