Baywatch Hotel, Cox’s Bazar, located at Inani Beach, has been recognised in the Leading Luxury Hotel/Resort category at the South Asian Travel Awards (SATA) 2026, the hotel said in a press release.

The hotel described the recognition as an important milestone for Bangladesh’s hospitality industry. It said the recognition highlights the sector’s growing visibility and the potential of Cox’s Bazar to attract domestic and international travellers, corporate guests and visitors seeking coastal experiences.

The South Asian Travel Awards recognise achievements across travel, tourism and hospitality in South Asia. According to the release, the 2026 programme took place in the Maldives and brought together industry stakeholders and hospitality professionals for networking and collaboration. The release named SATA President Ismail Hameed as part of the organisation’s leadership.

The hotel said it serves leisure and corporate guests, offering accommodation, meetings, conferences and team retreats. It said Inani offers opportunities for coastal leisure, corporate retreats and MICE tourism (meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions), and that the recognition could raise international awareness of the beach.

The hotel credited the recognition to the collective efforts of its management and staff, along with the support of guests, corporate clients and business partners. It said it remains focused on service quality, operational development and guest satisfaction, and on promoting Inani and Cox’s Bazar as destinations.
