Emirates will use its latest-generation Airbus A350 on its daily Dubai-Mauritius service from Nov 1, 2026, replacing the Boeing 777, the airline said.
The A350 will operate flights EK709 and EK710, according to a press release. EK709 will depart Dubai at 07:55 and arrive in Mauritius at 14:40. EK710 will leave Mauritius at 18:30 and reach Dubai at 01:10 the next day. All times are local.
The aircraft has three classes with 298 seats: 32 in Business, 28 in Premium Economy and 238 in Economy, the airline said. Business Class has a 1-2-1 layout with fully flat seats, direct aisle access, a 20-inch 4K screen and wireless charging. Premium Economy seats are arranged 2-3-2, with a 13.3-inch screen, a footrest and in-seat charging, it said. Economy seats have 13.3-inch 4K touchscreens and Bluetooth connectivity.
Emirates will keep its two other daily services to Mauritius on the Airbus A380, both with Premium Economy, the release said. It said passengers from Mauritius can connect via Dubai to more than 70 destinations in Europe, Asia and the Americas.
Oomar Ramtoola, Emirates’ Manager for the Indian Ocean Islands, said the A350 is “another important step in Emirates’ continued investment in Mauritius.” He said it brings the airline’s new Business Class to the route alongside Premium Economy and new onboard technology. He said that together with the two A380 flights, it shows the importance of Mauritius to the airline.
Tickets can be booked through Emirates.com, the Emirates Travel Store at Docks 2, Caudan, or travel agents, the release said.
