Emirates won several awards at two travel industry programmes held in Singapore in October, the airline said in a press release on November 2.

On October 1, Emirates was named Best Airline (Middle East) at the Travel Weekly Asia Readers’ Choice Awards 2026, which are based on votes from travel professionals and industry stakeholders, according to the release.

On October 21, the airline won three titles at the Business Traveller Awards: Best First Class in the World, Best Premium Economy in the World, and Best Economy in the World. It was nominated in six categories, including Best Airline in the World, Best Business Class in the World, and Best Cabin Crew in the World.

Business Traveller Managing Director Jonny Clark said Emirates’ continued improvements to its passenger experience across the fleet resonated with the judges and consumers. He described the airline as “a benchmark within the industry.”

Emirates listed several product developments from the past year, including what it called the world’s first electric Premium Economy seat with a full-height privacy screen and the first U-Dream Headrest in Economy Class. It said it has also passed one million onboard Starlink Wi-Fi connections, launched Bvlgari amenity kits for First and Business Class, and expanded its premium onboard dining selection.

Rashed Alfajeer, Emirates’ Country Manager for Singapore and Brunei, received the awards on the airline’s behalf. He said the recognition across every cabin class reinforces the airline’s commitment to world-class experiences, and that Emirates sees the awards “not as a destination but as motivation.”

The airline also said it marked 35 years of operations in Singapore in 2025. In June 2026, it marked three years of Premium Economy service in the market, having carried more than 88,000 passengers on the product since launch.
