French transport minister visits Airbus pilot training centre in Delhi

This week, French Minister for Transport Philippe Tabarot visited the Airbus pilot training center in Delhi, underscoring the expanding partnership between France and India in the civil aviation sector.


During his visit, Minister Tabarot engaged with the Airbus team and explored state-of-the-art flight simulators, underscoring the importance of advanced training in supporting India’s rapidly expanding aviation industry.


Executives from Air India, representatives from the Ministry of Civil Aviation, the Government of India, and the Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry engaged in discussions with critical stakeholders during the visit.


The minister also met Indian political leaders, including Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu, to further strengthen bilateral ties in aviation and technology.


Minister Tabarot commended the Franco-Indian partnership in civil aviation for its enduring nature and underscored the potential for collaboration in areas such as aviation safety standards, sustainable aviation technologies, and pilot training.


The visit reflects France’s continued commitment to supporting India’s aviation sector amid its rapid growth and modernization.
