The German Embassy in Dhaka has issued a public advisory urging visa applicants to carefully safeguard their application documents and access information, warning that it will not respond to individual requests related to lost data or appointment changes.
Today, in a notice posted on its verified Facebook page, the embassy said applicants are responsible for securely storing their application documents and maintaining access to their reference numbers, as well as keeping their documentation up to date.
“Applicants are responsible for maintaining access to their reference number and for updating their documentation,” the embassy said, adding that it is unable to address individual needs related to these matters.
The embassy also clarified that it will not reschedule appointments for student visas and said requests concerning document management or appointment rescheduling would not be answered.
The embassy did not provide further details or indicate any changes to existing visa procedures.
