Private airline NOVOAIR and digital financial service Nagad have signed an agreement under which Nagad customers get a 10 percent discount on the base fare of NOVOAIR tickets, according to a press release.

The memorandum of understanding was signed at Nagad’s head office on Thursday, Oct 15. Nagad was represented by Chief Commercial Officer Mohammad Shahin Sarwar Bhuiyan and Head of Business Sales Md Saidur Rahman Dipu. NOVOAIR was represented by Director of Marketing and Sales Sohel Majid and Assistant Manager Mazharul Kabir, along with senior officials of both organisations, the release said.

Customers can claim the discount on tickets for all Novoair destinations when they buy from any of the airline’s own sales counters across the country, it said. The offer runs until Dec 31, 2026, with no blackout period, so customers can use the discount at any time during that window. A Nagad account holder can also buy multiple tickets for family members, the release said.

“Making customers’ lives easier and more affordable is Nagad’s main goal,” Bhuiyan said. He said the partnership was meant to make air travel more accessible, so customers can travel at a lower cost at any time of the year without hassle.

Majid said Novoair is committed to giving passengers the highest quality of service. He said the airline was pleased to offer extra benefits on ticket purchases through the partnership, which he said would encourage more people to travel by air. 

NOVOAIR currently operates regular daily flights from Dhaka to Cox’s Bazar, Chattogram, Sylhet, and Saidpur.
