Qatar Airways said on Thursday it had updated its flight schedule to gradually increase services to and from Doha, adding additional frequencies to more than 90 destinations across its global network.
The revised timetable, which is valid until April 15, reflects a phased expansion of operations as the airline adjusts capacity and connectivity across its routes, the carrier said in a statement.
Qatar Airways said all flights to and from Doha are continuing to operate through designated flight corridors coordinated with the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority, a measure aimed at ensuring operational safety and regulatory compliance.
Qatar Airways said it will contact passengers holding confirmed bookings on flights included in the updated schedule with revised travel details, advising them to check the airline’s website or mobile application and ensure their contact information is up to date.
The airline also urged travelers not to arrive at airports without a valid confirmed ticket, noting that flight schedules may still change or face cancellations due to operational, regulatory, or safety considerations beyond the airline’s control.
As part of measures introduced during the disruption period, Qatar Airways said passengers with confirmed bookings for travel between February 28 and June 15, 2026, are eligible to change travel dates without additional charges to a new departure date up to October 31, subject to availability and fare conditions. Alternatively, passengers may request a refund of the unused ticket value, which the airline said could take up to 28 days to process.
The airline said its operational teams are working within current constraints to maintain services and ensure passengers reach their destinations, while emphasising that passenger and crew safety remains its top priority.
Industry observers say the gradual expansion of flights could help restore connectivity through Doha’s major hub, particularly for long-haul and transit passengers, as airlines continue adjusting schedules amid evolving operational conditions.
