Saudi Arabia's Government Expenditure and Projects Efficiency Authority (EXPRO) has signed a framework agreement with Riyadh Air, the kingdom's new national carrier, bringing the airline into the Unified Framework Agreement for Government ERCAB, the company announced.

According to Riyadh Air, the Ministry of Finance and the National Center for Government Resource Systems cooperated in signing the agreement.

Under the deal, Riyadh Air's services will be activated through the Etimad platform, expanding the range of travel options available to government entities and beneficiaries of government ERCAB services.

The airline said the move enhances flexibility and efficiency while providing broader options for government travel.

Riyadh Air's inclusion is expected to strengthen competition among national carriers, supporting increased seat capacity, a broader network of destinations and flight schedules, and greater flexibility in travel options and service packages.

The airline said these offerings are designed to meet the diverse needs of public sector employees and government ERCAB beneficiaries.

The agreement reflects ongoing collaboration between Riyadh Air and EXPRO to provide more flexible and efficient travel options for government ERCAB beneficiaries, according to the airline.

Riyadh Air currently connects Riyadh with 11 domestic and international destinations. The carrier has outlined plans to expand its network to 100 destinations worldwide by 2030, all served directly from the Saudi capital.
