Skyway is key to nation's future prosperity: Dulu

Disaster Management and Relief Minister Asadul Habib
Dulu said today that the skyway holds the key to the nation's future
prosperity, expressing confidence that the day is not far when aircraft built
by the country's youths will soar in the skies.
The minister made this remark while addressing as the
chief guest at the 7th founding anniversary programme of Aviation and Aerospace
University at its temporary campus at Lalmonirhat Airport, said a PID release. Vice-Chancellor
of the university Air Vice Marshal M Mustafizur Rahman presided over the
function.
The minister also voiced hope that Bangladesh will one
day launch satellites from its own space centre, with the country's talented
generation achieving new milestones in space research.
He assured of providing assistance to establish the
university's permanent campus quickly.
Earlier, the minister inaugurated the anniversary
programme by releasing balloons and pigeons and visited various exhibitions
showcasing innovative ideas of the students.
The Aviation and Aerospace University Bangladesh was
established in 2019. At present, around 600 students are studying in four
departments of the university.
