The Migration Section of the Embassy of Sweden in Dhaka will be closed from September 20 to 24, 2026, during which it will be unable to respond to emails or phone calls, receive visitors at its reception, or process decisions on Schengen visa applications. 

The embassy announced this closure in a post on its verified Facebook page on Tuesday.

The embassy said the section would resume normal operations on September 27, 2026, and thanked applicants for their understanding and cooperation during the closure.

The notice did not specify a reason for the week-long suspension of services.
