US-Bangla to resume Dhaka-Jashore flights from September 9

US-Bangla Airlines will resume flight operations on the Dhaka-Jashore route from September 9, operating six flights a week in response to long-standing demands from people in the greater Jashore region.

The private carrier will operate two flights each on Saturday, Wednesday and Thursday using 72-seat ATR 72-600 aircraft, according to a press release issued today, 25 August.

Under the new schedule, the first flight will depart Dhaka at 9:30 am and reach Jashore at 10:15 am. The return flight will leave Jashore at 10:45 am and arrive at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at 11:30 am.

The second flight will depart Dhaka at 4:45 pm and arrive in Jashore at 5:30 pm. It will leave Jashore at 6:00 pm and reach Dhaka at 6:45 pm.

The minimum one-way fare on the route has been set at Tk 5,749, while the return fare will be Tk 11,498, including applicable taxes and surcharges.

US-Bangla said the decision to resume the service was taken to facilitate faster and more convenient air connectivity for people in Jashore and surrounding areas, particularly for business, medical treatment, education and tourism.

The airline said it would consider increasing the number of flights on the route in the future based on passenger demand and market conditions.

The announcement comes following an Aviation Express report that highlighted the risk of Jashore Airport becoming idle after US-Bangla Airlines’ earlier decision to suspend its Dhaka-Jashore route from July 16, 2026.
