The Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) will formally inaugurate its Air Traffic Management Centre (ATMC) at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka tomorrow, Monday.

CAAB said the inauguration ceremony will take place at 10:00 am on April 20, 2026, at the newly established facility located within the airport premises.

Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Afroz Khanam is expected to attend the event as chief guest, while State Minister M. Rashiduzzaman Millat will also be present, according to an official statement.

The launch of the air traffic management centre is part of ongoing efforts to modernise aviation infrastructure and enhance operational efficiency as Bangladesh seeks to accommodate growing passenger and aircraft movements.
