Qatar Airways will resume services to four regional Saudi Arabian airports this winter, expanding its footprint in the kingdom to more than 155 weekly flights, the airline said in a press release.

Flights to Qassim will restart on October 25, followed by Taif on October 31, Yanbu on January 2, 2027, and Tabuk on January 3, 2027, according to the Doha-based carrier.

Each of the four routes will initially operate with two weekly flights, connecting passengers in those cities to Qatar Airways' global network of more than 160 destinations via its Hamad International Airport hub in Doha.

The resumptions form part of what the airline described as a broader push to deepen its presence in Saudi Arabia. Qatar Airways said its weekly service to the kingdom this winter will be more than 10 percent higher than during the summer season.

The carrier reported carrying over 2.3 million passengers between Saudi Arabia and its network over the past 12 months and said it had increased its Riyadh service from 35 to 49 weekly flights in June 2026.

The airline also highlighted its onboard connectivity offering on Saudi routes, saying widebody aircraft serving Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam are regularly equipped with Starlink satellite internet, providing free high-speed Wi-Fi gate-to-gate on eligible flights. It said it operated more than 685 Starlink-equipped flights across those three routes in July 2026 alone.

With the additions, Qatar Airways said its Saudi network will include 13 destinations: Abha, AlUla, Qassim, Dammam, Hail, Jeddah, Madinah, Riyadh, Tabuk, Taif, The Red Sea, and Yanbu, along with NEOM, which is scheduled to resume in the second half of 2027.

Bookings for the new routes are available through the Qatar Airways website and mobile app.

Qatar Airways was named "World's Best Airline" for a ninth time at the 2025 World Airline Awards run by Skytrax, according to the airline.
