The second group of Bangladeshi students awarded the Allama Muhammad Iqbal Scholarships under the Pakistan–Bangladesh Knowledge Corridor has arrived in Pakistan to pursue higher studies at leading universities, the Pakistan High Commission in Bangladesh said.

On Friday, the High Commission of Pakistan in Bangladesh said on its verified Facebook page that the students were seen off at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport by Pakistan’s High Commissioner to Bangladesh, Imran Haider.

Upon arrival at Jinnah International Airport, the students were received by representatives of the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan and officials from their respective host institutions.

The scholarships are part of the Pakistan–Bangladesh Knowledge Corridor initiative, which aims to promote academic cooperation and expand opportunities for students from Bangladesh to study in Pakistan. The program reflects efforts by both countries to strengthen educational ties and enhance person-to-person contacts.

Earlier, on February 15, 2026, the first group of Bangladeshi students awarded Allama Muhammad Iqbal Scholarships arrived in Pakistan to pursue higher education at leading universities.

The program aims to offer Bangladeshi students the chance to pursue advanced studies in various disciplines in Pakistan.
