For the 2026 Hajj, the Ministry of Religious Affairs has issued directives concerning health check-ups and vaccinations for registered expatriate Bangladeshi Hajj pilgrims.
According to a press release from the ministry, registered expatriate Bangladeshi pilgrims who plan to perform Hajj in 2026 must undergo health examinations and receive the prescribed vaccinations (meningitis and influenza) at reputable hospitals or diagnostic centers in their respective countries to ensure the smooth management of Hajj.
The Hajj branch -1 of the ministry issued the directives on March 1, 2026.
The pilgrims must sign the attached declaration form and submit scanned copies of the medical reports and supporting documents to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) via email at diseasecontrol@director.dghs.gov.bd and to the respective agency by March 6, following the completion of the health check-ups and vaccinations.
Subsequently, the relevant lead agency is requested to obtain a countersignature from the concerned agencies, issue an undertaking on their official pad, and submit printed copies of the medical reports and supporting documents directly to the Director of Disease Control and Line Director of DGHS by March 8.
Expatriate Bangladeshi Hajj pilgrims who are registered under the government channel are also required to undergo the prescribed health examinations and vaccinations (meningitis and influenza) at reputable hospitals or diagnostic centers in their respective countries.
It is mandatory for them to submit signed copies of the medical reports and supporting documents, as well as the declaration form, to the DGHS via email at diseasecontrol@director.dghs.gov.bd and to the ministry's email at hajj_secl@mora.gov.bd.
The DGHS-designated physician will enter the reports into the e-Hajj system and issue e-Health Certificates by March 10 after reviewing the submitted documents and declaration forms.
Through the Saudi Nusuk Masar system, all Hajj pilgrims must submit their visa applications by March 11.
