Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden has won the “Leading Business Hotel in Bangladesh” award at the South Asian Travel Awards (SATA) 2026, the hotel said in a press release.
The award was received by Brigadier General A N M Manzoorul Haque Mazumder, the hotel’s chief executive officer, at the SATA Gala held at Barceló Nasandhura in the Maldives on October 8.
According to the hotel, the award recognises its business facilities, professionally managed events and personalised guest service. It said the hotel had received several SATA recognitions in previous years.
In a statement, the hotel said the award reflected its “unwavering commitment to exceptional hospitality.” It thanked guests and partners for their trust and credited its staff for their work.
The hotel is on Airport Road in Dhaka and has 200 newly renovated rooms and suites. It offers meeting and event spaces for corporate gatherings, conferences, and MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions) events.
Its dining outlets include Water Garden Brasserie, which serves an international buffet; Spice & Rice, which specialises in Pan-Asian cuisine; and the fine-dining restaurant Sublime.
The hotel said it plans to build on the achievement by strengthening corporate partnerships and further establishing itself as a preferred destination for business travel, meetings, and events in Bangladesh.
The 10th edition of SATA brought together the travel and hospitality industry from across South Asia to celebrate excellence and innovation.
